As an independent company, Allen Tate Companies is passionate about supporting the work of local businesses — especially charities, nonprofit organizations and other philanthropic establishments. That’s why we created Tate Cares. This charitable giving program is designed to support organizations, cultural entities, foundations, civic groups and schools that make our communities better.

We are passionate about addressing the variety of needs in our neighborhoods and the lives of our neighbors. Tate Cares supports local United Way agencies, which work directly to assist those in need. We support local arts and cultural campaigns that promote the arts, science, history and heritage in an effort to build a more vibrant and diverse community.

“Our agents and employees understand the value that public education, arts, culture and history bring to our local communities. We also believe that helping people in need is part of being a good neighbor. Through Tate Cares, we are able to give back to these organizations that make such a difference in the communities where we live and do business across the Carolinas,” said Pat Riley, Allen Tate Companies president and chief operating officer.

We also raise money for local public education causes at our annual FUNday, featuring a day full of fundraising activities for agents. Since 2011, FUNday has evolved from a one-day, one-location event into multiple FUNday events taking place across the Carolinas.

In addition to these initiatives, Allen Tate encourages agents and employees to support their own personal passions and causes. Our Realtors® and employees support a wide range of organizations, including:

  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Local youth sports organizations
  • Disaster relief organizations
  • Make-A-Wish Foundation
  • Race for the Cure
  • Local homeless shelters
  • Second Harvest Food Bank
  • Relay for Life
  • Boys & Girls Clubs
  • Health awareness projects
  • And many more

Allen Tate Realtors® has raised more than $5.55 million for Tate Cares in the past 24 years. We look forward to many more years of supporting the organizations and individuals working tirelessly to help our communities flourish and succeed.
